October Newsletter

 

We are off and running with the first month already flying by. September brought lots of singing and so many apples! Apple tasting was a favorite as well as apple stamp painting. Our first field trip was a success and we are so grateful to Harper Johnson for letting us come and visit his orchard. Hopefully our attention span increases as the year goes on. 

B is for building and these girls love blocks and magnatiles. We also had fun making bead bracelets. 

I’ve finally gotten my feet under me for the year and looked through the entire year for when we will have breaks (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Spring  Break, etc). They will all coordinate with Box Elder School District with the exception of April. It’s my father-in-laws 80th birthday and we are supposed to be going on a trip with them. I still don’t have details so I’ll let you know when I know more. 

No fall break since it’s a Friday and a Monday for Box Elder. 

No preschool the week of Thanksgiving Nov 25-29

Christmas Break Dec 23-Jan 1 

Spring Break April 1-4

I think we will try for two more field trips. One to the fire station hopefully in November and one to the Logan Zoo in May.

Oct 21-25: The color orange (naranja), shape: square, Letter F, Numbers 1&2

Oct 28-31: Halloween fun! Halloween Party on the 31st (more details to come)
