2025-26 Preschool Information

I will be back to doing two preschool classes for the 2025-26 school year!

The older class will meet first from 9:30-11:30 three days a week (T/W/Th). The Wednesday class is an optional enrichment day, but having kids go to school three days a week is a great step toward the five day kindergarten week. Children need to be 4 by September 1 to be enrolled in this class. Right now I have room for 3 more four year olds.

The younger class will meet from 12:30-2:30 twice a week (T/TH). Children need to be 3 by September 1 to be enrolled in this class. They also need to be potty trained. Please talk with me if potty training is an obstacle and I can work with you on figuring out what we can do. I currently have 5 spots open in the three year old class.

We have loved having field trips this year and are hoping to add at least one more in the coming school year. Arts and crafts as well as free play have been the favorites this year and will continue to be part of the curriculum. I also have a goal to do more STEM activities.

April Newsletter

The end of the school year is fast approaching. Things are getting so busy! Hopefully you're staying on top of things (I'm barely keeping my head above water #life)

March brought us letters T,U and V! We made our own treasure maps, learned about tigers, made the cutest Umbrella sun catchers and the most magical Unicorns. Unicorns are always a hit. Imagine that with 5 girls in my class. We loved learning about vegetables and feeding our (paperboy) pig lots of yummy veggies! We finished the month off learning about Spring. Hurray for warmer weather!

Spring Break will be the first week of April and Tuition will reflect that. I hope you all have fun plans for the break. This is the first year it's really meant much to me since I have a Kindergartener this year.

Also no school on the 28th.

March Newsletter

February is a busy month at our house with 3 birthdays and then a birthday on March 1! We also had baby Bryce's second surgery. I'm not sad to see February end. It was a fun and busy month at preschool also.

We learned letters P, Q, R, and S! We started off strong making our own puzzles! We also learned about plants and how they grow. We planted our own seeds, an apple seed, a bean and a flower seed. We are excited to see them grow! Q is always my favorite because I am all about Quilting! The girls had fun making their own paper quilts. I'm sure they will LOVE next year when they get to make an actual quilt out of fabric. We made fun Robots and rainbow crafts for R and finished up the month with a skittle experiment and playing with stickers.  Spy letters were also a HUGE hit. We had "magic" spy pens that could reveal hidden messages. It was such a fun activity!

There will be no school on the 25th. Tuition will reflect that.

Q is for Quilt

November was a blur! Hopefully everyone had a happy and safe Thanksgiving.

In November we worked on G, H and I with a field trip for Helpers! It was so fun to visit the firestation and we are so grateful to fireman Doug for his patience in taking us around. We loved learning about Insects, grocery stores and all kinds of helpers.

I texted this earlier, but I’ll repeat it here. Tuition for December will be $40 (Merry Christmas) and January will be $60. There will be no school the week of January 20-24. I will be out of town on a trip with my mom and sister and then I have my niece’s wedding.

November Newsletter

October is gone already! Hope everyone survived Halloween and didn’t lose any extremities to the cold. We had so much fun at our Halloween party and I was shocked they are actually calmer than they normally are. I’m not complaining! I was especially impressed with how well they followed directions for the Bingo game. Hurray for small wins!

We worked on the Letters C, D, E, and F this month.

Everyone loves the letter C for cookie and they were such great little bakers!

D for digging, because we all know there’s nothing better than the sandbox.

E for Elmer the elephant and F for Fish and Farmers!

They made the cutest square pumpkins to go with our story of Spookly the square pumpkin. I look forward to cruising through November.

Update on my family trip, we are going the week of Spring Break so there won’t be any additional days out for that.

Stay tuned for information on a possible field trip to the fire station. I still need to call on that.
